OUR HISTORY

The 100 Black Men of the Quad Cities was formed on June 5, 1998. The purpose was to make a difference in our community and to help illuminate the pathways to success for our youth. The late Stanley Moore, one of our founders and beloved past presidents, recognized early on that our youth represent our future.

Our member strive to make a difference with our youth in the community by offering the 

"Stanley Moore Mentoring Program".

To improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all under-served Quad City Youth and Families in our Diverse Communities, with emphasis on closing the achievement gp and Youth Violence.

OUR VISION

100 Black Men of the Quad Cities seeks to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our diverse talents to create environments where our students are motivated to achieve, and to empower our students to become self-sufficient sharholders in the economic and social fabric of the communities we serve. Students will learn Job Skills, leadership and Building Healthy Relationships. Students will visit different Colleges and Trade Schools.

 

 

 

The 100 Black Men of Quad Cities is a 501c3 organization. The organization was formed in June 1998 in response to the need to help the area school systems and communities elimination of the achievement gap, youth violence, and help illuminate the pathways to success for all Quad Cities Youth. We are committed to the intellectual development of youth and the economic empowerment of Families. We seek to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our diverse talents to create environments where our children are motivated to achieve and to empower them to become self-sufficient shareholders. Here are some of our programs to achieve these goals:
